My name is Chris Carter. I’m an aspiring follower of Jesus. I work for a small company that builds software for the collections industry.  I also have my own consulting company, Carter Ventures, which I’m still trying to get off the ground.

I used to own part of a company called Confluent Data Systems, but we got sued into oblivion by a former partner.  Such is life.  We did plenty of interesting things at CDS, like build a wine business for nearly 3 years (Love Washington Wine), a green energy company (US West Energy Solutions), and a bunch of software.

I love God, my family, technology, science, wine, photography, politics, and life.
